What to expect when you come to Fox River Academy?
When you come to Fox River Academy, you might want to know what you're going to do. Fox River Academy is a school about the concept of being outside and having fun. But that also means you have to take part in everything we do.

Working outside is something we do at Fox River Academy. Usually we work at school or even on different properties. Every grade is always doing something different. It might be in the field as a 7th grader doing the hands-on option or even a kindergartner exploring nature at Pierce Park.

In every grade, you still do work. When you go up in grades you need to be prepared, in the GTB (Green Teaching Building) you will have to do more hands on work like working on our butterfly garden, working on the ravine and more projects you can do.

The expert team of teachers and staff are highly qualified and hold many certifications in addition to their K-8  licensures. Students leave FRA well-prepared to meet the challenges of high school and beyond. FRA alumni regularly share their success with teachers on how their the leadership and career skills have prepared them for their futures.
